‘Vestiges of a lost home’, is a five-day exhibition that is being put up by The Khes Project at the Partition Museum in Amritsar. The exhibit – on display from 12th to 17th August 2022 (excluding 15th August) – revolves around the theme of craft traditions of undivided Punjab and the 1947 partition of India and Pakistan. This display, of textile panels along with photographs and artworks, is intended to provide a platform for conversations on the adversities of Partition, through the means of Khes and Phulkari, two textiles that are an important part of every Punjabi household.
