Project Dastaan Launch in Delhi

Join us at the Partition Museum, Delhi in collaboration with Project Dastaan for the highly anticipated Launch of Project Dastaan in India. This event will take place at the magnificent Partition Museum, located in the Dara Shukoh Library Building at Ambedkar Campus, Lothian Road, Delhi, on Tuesday, 17 January, from 4:00 to 6:00 pm.

The event schedule is as follows:
4:00 pm – Address by Rebecca Fairbairn, Director of UKRI, who will share her insights and thoughts on the project.
4:30 pm – Film Screening: We will be showcasing “Lost Migration,” a captivating three-part animated series that delves into the stories of those affected by the Partition. Additionally, we will present “Child of Empire,” an immersive Virtual Reality Experience that provides a unique perspective on this significant historical event.
5:00 pm – Panel Discussion: “The Partition of 1947” through Oral Histories and Film. We have gathered esteemed experts who will shed light on this topic through their valuable insights and experiences. The panellists include: Professor Navtej Kaur Purewal, Department of Development Studies, SOAS University of London
