The Arts and Cultural Heritage Trust or TAACHT (registered under the Indian Trusts Act, 1882) has set up the Partition Museum to remember all those millions impacted in the Partition of India. This is the world’s first Partition Museum that aims to remember and commemorate the Partition in 1947- its victims, its survivors and its lasting legacy. It aims to fill the lacuna that even 70 years after the Partition, there was no museum anywhere in the world dedicated to it.

The Partition Museum is a people’s museum and is built on the generosity of the many who have helped us over the years. Your donations and assistance are extremely valuable and essential to aid us in this project of conserving history.

Donations to the Partition Museum are eligible for 80G Tax Deductions.
